We understand that when you share any details with us, we must look after this information. We are committed to keeping your information safe and secure.

We respect the data protection laws and this Privacy Notice tells you how we are complying with these. We need to tell you what we are collecting, why and what we are using your information (your personal data) for.

So who are we?

We are required to tell you who is the ‘Controller’ of the personal information and other information collected. Mums in Leadership is an informal collaboration between Mantleco Ltd (Mantle) and Appt Online Solutions Ltd (Appt). With this in mind we are joint data controllers for any personal information you share with us. Both Mantleco Ltd and Appt Online Solutions Ltd are registered companies and also hold their own data policies which you can find at the links below. We will work inline with these policies, in regards to your data:

Mantle’s Privacy Policy

Appt’s Privacy Policy

We will never share your data with any other third party without permission.

What do we collect about you and why?

Most of the information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • You have asked or agreed (consented) to join our mailing list where we may provide you with updates on our services, events and resources from Mums in Leadership or Motherhood penalty related information.

  • You have signed up to one of our networking events.

We will only collect the data we require to deliver these services, which will primarily include your name and email address. We might occasionally ask you for information so that we can monitor our equal opportunities and inclusivity. This may also help with any advocacy or lobbying we might do as a network. Any data we do collect and use in this area will be anonymised.

How do we collect your data?

In order to keep your data safe we collect you email for our mailing list through mailchimp, and we use eventbrite to registering to our events. These are both GDPR and data compliant and we have designated Mums in Leadership accounts in order to keep your data separate to other areas of our businesses.

Both of these platforms allow us to collect your data under the lawful basis of ‘consent’.
